    🏆 2025 Heathland Classic – Final Results & Champions Crowned!

    After three unforgettable rounds across Hollinwell, Lindrick, and Sherwood Forest, the 2025 Heathland Golf Classic has come to a close — and what a tournament it’s been!

    The final leaderboard came down to the wire, with just a handful of points separating the top contenders. Congratulations to all competitors for a brilliant few days of golf.

    🏁 Overall Championship Results:

    🥇 1st Place – Champions: Matt Crawley & Greg Crawley – 129 points
    🥈 2nd Place: Daniel Palmer & Keith Aiton – 126 points
    🥉 3rd Place: David Wilson & Stuart McClure – 125 points

    🎖️ 5th Place: Chris Neenan & Matt Robinson – 124 points

    🎁 The Champions’ Prize:
    Matt & Greg Crawley will be heading to Royal Lytham & St Annes for an unforgettable overnight stay in the Dormy House, complete with breakfast, an evening meal, and of course, a round of golf at one of the most iconic links courses in the world. A fitting reward for a phenomenal performance!

    🏆 Heathland Classic – Round 3 Recap at Sherwood Forest

    The final round of the Heathland Classic at Sherwood Forest delivered everything we hoped for – drama, top-quality golf, and a leaderboard that kept shifting until the very end. With everything to play for in both the Day 3 standings and the overall prize, the competition was fierce from the first tee to the final putt.

    Day 3 Results – Top 6 Pairs:

    🥇 1st Place – Daniel Palmer & Keith Aiton – 46 points
    🥈 2nd Place – Matt Crawley & Greg Crawley – 45 points
    🥉 3rd Place – Martin Fielder & Jason Waller – 44 points

    Round 2 of the 2025 Heathland Classic concluded in style at the stunning Hollinwell, with competitors taking full advantage of the excellent conditions to produce some truly exceptional scoring.

    Top Performers of the Day:

    🥇 Roy Sammons & James Sammons led the field with a superb 47 points, showcasing consistency and teamwork throughout the round.
    🥈 Matt Crawley & Greg Crawley were hot on their heels, carding an impressive 46 points to secure second place.
    🥉 Paul Margison & Stuart Lodge, Bill Stroud & Steve Turner, David Wilson & Stuart McClure, and Shush Chatterjee & Iain Mackenzie all finished with strong scores of 44 points, taking 3rd to 6th place respectively on countback.

    Nearest the Pin Winners:

    🎯 5th Hole – Rob Cooper
    🎯 13th Hole – David Wilson

    A huge well done to all competitors for making it another memorable day at the Classic. We now look ahead to the final round at Sherwood Forest, where the competition promises to be just as fierce.

    Heathland Classic – Round 1 Recap: Lindrick Golf Club

    Round 1 of the Heathland Classic got underway at the prestigious Lindrick Golf Club, where players were treated to a superb day of golf on one of the region’s finest courses.

    Leading the field after a strong opening performance are David Wilson & Stuart McClure from Hallamshire, carding an impressive 42 points to top the leaderboard.

    Places 2nd to 6th were tightly contested, with just a single point separating them and final positions decided by countback.

    2nd Place: Michael Robinson & Graham Robinson (Garforth) – 41 pts

    3rd Place: Paul Margison (Manor Country Club, USA) & Stuart Lodge (Paris, France) – 41 pts

    4th Place: Mike Holmes & Andrew Godwin (Newbury & Crookham) – 41 pts

    5th Place: David Pickard & Chris Beams (Cardiff) – 41 pts

    6th Place: Mark Westbrook & Thomas Breese (Headingley) – 40 pts
